Afternoon Tea at Botham's

Take time for tea with an exquisite Botham's Afternoon Tea served in all three of Botham's cafes at Whitby & Pickering.

A celebration of their Yorkshire baking, each element on this three-tier afternoon tea stand is crafted - often by hand - in their Whitby bakery. Enjoy a delicious selection of hand-cut sandwiches made with fresh bakery bread; Delight in Sultana Scones fresh out of their Whitby ovens served with jam and clotted cream; And, finally, indulge in a top tier selection of divine fancy cakes. This certainly is a traditional Yorkshire Afternoon Tea!

Elizabeth Botham set up her bakery in the ancient fishing port of Whitby in 1865. She began by selling her bread and cakes from a basket at the local market and eventually bought the premises on Skinner Street. Botham’s traditions are now continued by the fourth & fifth generation of her family
